Quick report: Just getting started with your web site construction? Here's how I did it...

Not being one to pay a bundle of money for outside help, (and not having much back in 1996) I decided to take on the task of webmastering myself. I decided that in the long run, I'd probably save some money, not to mention the knowledge I'd gain. I had been using computers for a few years and had a good working knowledge of quite a few different programs. I figured I should be able to get through it.

With my mission clearly defined, I set out on a web surfin' safari, in search of a simple yet powerful web-authoring program.

For the record, I decided to go with Microsoft Frontpage. This is by no means an endorsement for Mr. Gates. I simply decided that it would probably be easy to learn since I recently upgraded to Windows 95. I must report, after getting through the initial learning curve, the product turned out to be quite stable and very powerful. But that's not to say it's the right tool for you...
