As I predicted back in 1998, more and more search engines are now starting to charge a fee to be listed in their directory. But you can still get into some good engines for free. As far as paying search engines for listings, there are just two that are worth the price in my opinion. That's because most search traffic goes through either Google or Yahoo!

1. Google Adwords offers a great way to take your search engine advertising a step further, by paying for clicks. This advertising opportunity with Google is tops when it comes to paying for search engine traffic.
